Beat Production

Beat Kangz Electronics approached IVL in 2009 to redesign a prototype product developed for the hip hop market. Several contractors had been involved in the development of the prototype resulting in a design that was very expensive to manufacture and was not market ready. IVL re-designed the product and managed transfer of production to Chinese contract manufacturing. The Beat Thang has received positive reviews and BKE is expanding US and international distribution.

Beat Thang used in the music production of major music video

Dallas Austin, a major Atlanta-based producer, used the Beat Thang to produce the music for a video starring Will.i.am, J.Lo and Mick Jagger which was premiered at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, Nov. 2011. The video has subsequently been released.
